Do you use Google's auto-suggest feature to come up with new business blog post ideas?

It's a quick and easy way to find out what your audience needs help with - help you can give them via your business blog.

This nifty tool uses the same tech to generate dozens of keyword phrases - so you know what words your audience are typing into search engines.

Armed with this wisdom you can create content that answers their search queries and is therefore helpful and engaging, PLUS you can use the terms they use, thus giving the spooky illusion of mind-reading.

Yes, I used ‘therefore' and ‘thus' in the same post!

In this micro-tutorial I show you how to use answerthepublic.com to generate dozens of blogging topic ideas your audience are eager to see.

Then underneath the video, I give you three top tips for creating business blog posts that help you nurture and convert your audience:

3 Top Tips For Writing Blog Posts That Connect And Convert

#1 Be Human
Blog posts are an opportunity to demonstrate your credibility and expertise, but at the same time, you must remain friendly and approachable. It's all too easy to sound authoritarian and didactic when imparting wisdom (it usually happens when you unnecessarily use long words like ‘authoritarian' and ‘didactic'). Stop yourself from sounding like a haughty know-it-all by adopting a conversational, relaxed writing voice.

#2 You Can Always Change It Later
If you haven't got started with your business blog yet - get on with it. You are no doubt over-thinking what your first blog post should be. Relax. Publish it and change it later if you don't like it.

#3 Hit Publish Then Promote
Once you've written the blog post, that's only half the job done (sorry). Invest some time promoting your post as soon as you hit publish to increase the chances of it being seen by your target audience.
